Strong Cyclone hits Australia’s eastern coast

A strong cyclone has hit the eastern coastal areas of Australia causing death of 3 people.
Many people have been reported to be missing.

The rainfall from the cyclone has flooded rivers and strong winds have uprooted trees in many areas.

Cyclonic conditions are still prevailing in Southern New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

Houses have been evacuated at the Collaroy beach area in Sydney.

The destruction in Queensland and New South Wales is expected to cost around 2.8 crore dollars.
