According to reports, the lifeguards swiftly pulled the tourist to safety, administered first aid on the beach, and later shifted the individual to a health centre in Candolim for further treatment. Authorities and lifeguards have once again urged tourists and locals to avoid taking risks in the sea, especially during rough weather and strong currents. Emphasising beach safety, lifeguards also shared a strong message during the rescue operation: “Your life is precious — your family is waiting for you at home.”
