Repeated Food Safety Violations Prompt Warning of Stricter Action in Mapusa The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has expressed disappointment over continued food safety violations by vendors operating at the Alankar food joint area in Mapusa despite repeated warnings and inspections.Following a recent pre-monsoon enforcement drive, the FDA took action against five establishments, including the closure of four fast food stalls and one juice centre. Officials stated that vendors have repeatedly failed to comply with prescribed food safety norms .In view of the recurring violations, the FDA said it may submit a proposal to prohibit cooking activities at the Alankar food joint area if operators continue to disregard regulations.
