Calls for More Powers and Administrative Authority for Zilla Panchayats Minister Babush Monserrate cast his vote in the Zilla Panchayat elections and stressed the need to empower ZP bodies with greater authority. Speaking to the media, he said Zilla Panchayats represent nearly half of the constituency and should be given more powers, including enhanced administrative control, to function effectively and address local issues efficiently.
