AAP’s Amit Palekar Flags Ballot Serial Number Issue

Questions EC Over Possible Disclosure of Voter Choice AAP Goa State President Adv. Amit Palekar on polling day raised concerns with the Election Commission over the serial number on the ballot being simultaneously mentioned on the electoral roll. He said that during counting, matching the serial number with the roll could potentially reveal a voter’s choice. Palekar said poll officials assured him that the rolls would be sealed to prevent any such disclosure.
