Dr Sawant stresses need to protect youth from drug menace at closing ceremony in Panaji The Goa State Legal Services Authority, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority, concluded the first phase of its 30-day special awareness campaign on the theme Drug Abuse – Drugs: A Menace to Society with a closing ceremony held at the Kala Academy auditorium. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant highlighted the importance of the campaign in safeguarding the youth—the future of Goa—from falling prey to drug abuse, and lauded the initiative for fostering meaningful dialogue with students and the community at large.
