प्राण्याला मारहाण करून नदीत फेकल्याचा आरोप बार्देश तालुक्यातील कामुर्ली येथे भटक्या कुत्र्याच्या मृत्यूस कारणीभूत ठरल्या प्रकरणी कोलवाळ पोलिसांनी गुन्हा नोंदवला आहे. डीएसपीसीए उत्तर गोव्याच्या अपूर्वा नाईक यांनी दिलेल्या तक्रारीनुसार, २७ मार्च रोजी कामुर्ली जेटीजवळ कुत्र्याला अमानुष मारहाण करून नंतर नदीत फेकण्यात आल्याचा आरोप आहे. या प्रकरणी भारतीय न्याय संहिता कलम ३२५ तसेच प्राण्यांवरील क्रूरता प्रतिबंधक कायद्यांतर्गत गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला असून पुढील तपास कोलवाळ पोलीस करत आहेत.
