CM Sawant Emphasises Savings and Investment Awareness

Financial literacy drive reaches rural Goa through bank-led camps Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said a large-scale financial literacy drive is being carried out across Goa with 807 rural bank branches conducting awareness programmes. Speaking at the Future Wealth Goa Conclave 2026, he said around 966 camps have been organised to educate people on financial scams, mobile banking, and savings awareness.The initiative aims to strengthen financial inclusion in rural areas and encourage safe investment through formal banking systems.
