Councillor Komarpant Calls for Greater Kidney Health Awareness Amid Rising Cases Canacona Councillor Komarpant has said that the dialysis unit at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Canacona is functioning smoothly, but the number of patients requiring treatment is steadily increasing.According to the councillor, the dialysis patient count has risen by 12 over the past six months, highlighting growing concerns over kidney-related illnesses. While appreciating the government’s efforts in providing healthcare services, he urged the public to take preventive measures and adopt healthier lifestyles to reduce the risk of kidney disease.Komarpant also called for greater public awareness on kidney health and requested Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant to take note of the increasing number of cases.
