Pramod Sawant Raises Concern Over Limited Opportunities for Local Candidates Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has expressed concern that a significant number of seats and opportunities at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Goa are going to candidates from outside the state.Speaking on the issue, Sawant said the Goa government is making efforts to ensure that more local students benefit from admissions and opportunities at the institute. He stated that the matter has been taken up with the Union Government and that a request has been made to the Union Education Minister to halt the ongoing recruitment process until the concerns are addressed.
