AAP Warns Protest Over Power Bill Penalties

Party Demands Withdrawal of Load Limit Charges, Alleges Consumers Being Overburdened AAP has accused the Goa government of unfairly penalising electricity consumers for exceeding sanctioned load limits and alleged that residents were never properly informed about the charges. AAP leader Valmiki Naik claimed rising power tariffs, higher bills after the introduction of digital meters, and increased billing revenue have added to the burden on consumers. The party has warned of a march to Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar’s residence if the penalties are not withdrawn.
