Locals Blame Poor Waste Management, Urge MMC to Find Permanent Solution Fresh concerns have emerged in Cunchelim after garbage that was earlier removed from a nallah near Sai Baba Temple reportedly washed back into the drain following recent rainfall, once again obstructing the flow of water. Residents say the issue has persisted despite repeated complaints and previous cleaning drives, alleging that waste left near the site after desilting was carried back into the nallah by the rains. Frustrated locals have now called on the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) to implement long-term measures to address the recurring sanitation and drainage problem.
