Police probe attack near Socorro Panchayat garden; assault linked to previous enmity Porvorim Police have arrested three persons in connection with a violent assault reported near the Socorro Panchayat garden on June 18, while the main accused continues to remain absconding even after nine days. According to the complaint filed by Ankush Sharma, the accused group allegedly assaulted his friend Anand Patil, leaving him with injuries to his face, head, and other parts of the body. The attack is suspected to have stemmed from previous enmity. Police said further investigation is underway.
