CM hands over citizenship under CAA; third Goan-origin Pakistani to receive it After 44 years of struggle, Goa-origin Pakistani citizen Velento Crasto Brandon has finally been granted Indian citizenship. He becomes the third person of Goan origin to receive citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act. The official documents were handed over by the Chief Minister during a special ceremony for the beneficiaries.
