Land Grab Accused Suleman Siddiquie Brought Back to Goa, Sent to Judicial Custody

Court schedules hearing on his bail application for October 8 Suleman Siddiquie, a key accused in Goa’s ongoing land grab and property fraud investigation, has been brought back to the state after repeatedly failing to appear before the court via video conferencing. He was produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. Siddiquie had been taken to Delhi by Delhi Police last month in connection with another case. The court has fixed October 8 for hearing his bail plea.
