Fire team recovers body from under the bridge; police probe to identify deceased and ascertain cause of death An unidentified man, estimated to be around 50 to 55 years old, was found floating in the Manas at Merces on Thursday, under the bridge. The local fire team promptly recovered the body and handed it over to the police. The deceased has been sent to Goa Medical College for a postmortem examination. Police have launched an investigation to determine the man’s identity and the cause of death.
