23-year-old youth attacked by unidentified assailants; police probe underway An attempt to murder was reported near the Sai Baba Temple in Sangolda, where a 23-year-old youth, Anant Kerkar, a resident of Sangolda, was allegedly chased and assaulted by two unidentified persons on a Dio scooter. The assailants reportedly attacked him with weapons before fleeing the spot. The victim alerted the police by calling 112, following which Saligao Police rushed to the scene.
