From limited access to widespread availability across PHCs and private sector, says CM Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has highlighted the significant progress made in dialysis services across Goa over the past three decades. Recalling the late 1990s, the CM noted that dialysis facilities were once limited to just a few centres, including Goa Medical College and district hospitals. Today, he emphasized, the situation has transformed dramatically, with dialysis centres now available in almost every Primary Health Centre (PHC), along with expanded access in the private healthcare sector—marking a major boost to patient care and accessibility in the state.
