43-year-old biker dies on the spot; wife critically injured, admitted to hospital A fatal road accident was reported at Asnoda after a motorcycle collided with a bus. The bike rider, identified as Laxmikant Shettkar , was traveling from Asnoda towards Mapusa when the mishap occurred. Shettkar succumbed to his injuries, while his wife, Aalka Shettkar 40, who was riding pillion, sustained serious injuries and was rushed for medical treatment. The deceased’s body was later brought to the District Hospital, Mapusa, for further formalities. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
