PoP idols found floating; demand raised for Pollution Control Board action. Goa Hindu Yuva Shakti carried out re-immersion of Ganesh idols at Torda, Porvorim, after several idols—mostly made of Plaster of Paris—were found floating in large numbers. The group has urged the Goa Pollution Control Board to clear all remaining idols to prevent further environmental damage.
