New Scheme for Krishi Card Holders to Replace Old Assistance Model Since the closure of the Sanjivani sugar factory in 2020-21, the Goa government has disbursed ₹46.89 crore to sugarcane farmers and ₹26.46 crore to the factory’s workers. Moving forward, a new assistance scheme will be implemented exclusively for Krishi Card holders, replacing the previous model to ensure better-targeted support for the agricultural community.
