Once a vision for animal care, now a crumbling structure awaiting government action. The Veterinary Hospital in Madkai, once hailed as a milestone in Goa’s animal healthcare when its foundation was laid in 1992 by then CM Ravi Naik and inaugurated in 1996 by CM Pratapsingh Rane, now lies abandoned and in disrepair. Crumbling walls and weak infrastructure have left locals fearing collapse. Despite concerns, no action has been taken, and residents are demanding immediate restoration and accountability from Minister Sudin Dhavalikar before neglect turns into disaster.
