With Labour Shortage and Time Constraints, Farmers Must Embrace Mechanised Solutions, Says Minister Modern farming through mechanised equipment is the need of the hour as the availability of traditional farm labour is declining and time is being lost, said Social Welfare Minister Subhash Faldesai. He was speaking at the inauguration of a new paddy planting machine introduced by the Agriculture Department at Netravali in Sanguem. He urged farmers to make full use of the machinery provided.
