All Goa Private Bus Owners’ Association Leader Sudip Tamhankar Allegedly Attacked

Assault reported after press meet; police detain a few suspects All Goa Private Bus Owners’ Association leader Sudip Tamhankar was allegedly attacked by a group of seven to eight persons while returning on a two-wheeler after addressing a press conference. Tamhankar had recently alleged that buses of a tours and travel company had illegally entered Goa without proper registration. He claimed that the group obstructed his vehicle, causing him to fall, assaulted him, and clicked photographs of his two-wheeler before fleeing. Police have detained a few persons in connection with the incident, and further investigation is underway.
