CM Inaugurates Restored Sankhali Fort

Historic 17th-Century Monument Revived to Preserve Goa’s Heritage Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the restored Sankhali Fort, a 17th-century monument built by the Sawant Bhonsle rulers. The restoration, undertaken by the Department of Archaeology, aims to preserve the fort’s historical significance and cultural legacy for future generations. The Chief Minister said heritage monuments are symbols of Goa’s identity and their preservation is a collective responsibility.
