Hands-on learning on farming, food processing and hurak feni making Students of St. Francis High School, Shivoli visited the cashew orchards of farmers Shriram Salgaonkar and Pramila Sagaonkar in Parsem as part of an educational exposure visit. The students learned how pulses are processed into food products and gained insights into the traditional preparation of hurak feni from cashew apples, while also exploring various fruit trees on the farm.
