Fitness certificate fines cut to ₹1,000 Private bus and truck owners in Goa have received major relief as fines for non-renewal of fitness certificates have been reduced to a one-time penalty of ₹1,000. Association president Sudip Tamhankar said the move followed Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant’s intervention with the Centre, easing the burden on vehicles unused since Covid.
