पाच पर्यटकांचा जीव थोडक्यात बचावला; दोन जखमींना रुग्णालयात हलवले उत्तर गोव्यातील पर्यटनस्थळ कळंगुट येथे नोंदणीकृत एका कारने वीज ट्रान्सफॉर्मरला जोरदार धडक दिल्याने भीषण आग लागून ट्रान्सफॉर्मर पूर्णतः जळून खाक झाला. या अपघातात कारने रस्त्याच्या कडेला उभ्या असलेल्या एका भाड्याच्या कारलाही धडक दिल्याने तिचेही नुकसान झाले. अपघातावेळी कारमध्ये पाच पर्यटक प्रवास करत होते. सुदैवाने सर्वांनी ट्रान्सफॉर्मरला आग लागण्यापूर्वी वाहनातून बाहेर पडत आपला जीव वाचवला. मात्र, यात दोघेजण जखमी झाल्याने त्यांना उपचारासाठी रुग्णालयात हलविण्यात आले आहे. प्रत्यक्षदर्शींनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, कार वेगात असल्याची शक्यता व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे.
