₹50,000 compensation for death, ₹25,000 assistance for injuries under Welfare Board scheme Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced compensation benefits for construction workers during a Labour Day programme held at Dona Paula. Under the Construction Welfare Board scheme, ₹50,000 will be provided in case of a worker’s death under insurance coverage, while ₹25,000 will be given as one-time assistance for injuries.The initiative aims to strengthen social security measures and provide financial support to construction workers and their families.
