Tawadkar Alleges Attempts to Block ST Political Reservation Process

Urges Against Caste Politics, Calls for Constitutional Approach Ahead of 2027 Elections Minister Ramesh Tawadkar has alleged that certain individuals are attempting to create obstacles in the implementation of Scheduled Tribe (ST) political reservation for the 2027 Goa Assembly elections. He claimed that caste-based politics is being used to influence the reservation debate and urged people not to politicise the issue. Tawadkar reiterated that ensuring political representation for the ST community remains a priority and stressed that the process must be carried out in accordance with constitutional and legal provisions.
