Residents Demand Wetland Restoration and Removal of Fencing Before Monsoon Chimbel residents have raised objections to activities at the proposed Unity Mall site, alleging that parts of a local wetland have been disturbed. Villagers have given authorities 10 days to remove the fencing and restore the area, warning that the site alterations could pose risks during the monsoon. They have also urged the Sarpanch not to refund the ₹1.5 crore GTDC licence fee until the wetland is restored and their concerns are addressed.
