‘No New Party Can Weaken Congress’: Amit Patkar

GPCC chief says Congress is strong and unaffected by new political outfits. Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar said the party has significantly strengthened its organisation over the past four years and remains confident regardless of who enters the political arena. He asserted that the Congress would not be affected by the formation of any new political party.Responding to speculation over reports of a new party, Patkar said he has no connection with the BJP and therefore cannot comment on whether the proposed outfit is backed by the ruling party.
