Cabinet Clears Fee Structure for ‘Mhaje Ghar’ Scheme

Rates fixed for houses on Communidade land based on year of construction The Goa Cabinet has approved the fee structure for regularising houses on Communidade land under the ‘Mhaje Ghar’ scheme. Charges will vary depending on the year of construction, with houses built before 1972 paying ₹25 per sq. metre plus a 20% penalty, and later constructions facing circle rate-based fees with penalties. Revenue collected will go directly to the respective Communidade accounts.
