“Maha Andolan – Karo Ya Maro” scheduled on 30 January in Panjim; 1,000 expected to join Villagers from Chimbel have announced plans for a major protest demanding the scrapping of the proposed Unity Mall project. Termed as a “Maha Andolan – Karo Ya Maro,” the agitation is set to take place on 30 January in Panjim. Organisers claim that around 1,000 participants are expected to join the protest, underscoring the strong local opposition to the project.
