CM Pramod Sawant Launches Logo and Anthem for 2025 FIDE World Cup

Global Chess Championship to Be Held in Arpora, North Goa from October 31 to November 27 Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday unveiled the logo and anthem for the 2025 FIDE World Cup Chess Championship, to be hosted in Arpora, North Goa. Organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, the event will see participation from 82 countries.Sawant said the World Cup’s return to India after 23 years is a proud moment for Goa and the nation, emphasizing that the tournament will boost sports tourism and inspire young chess talent.
