“Taare Zameen Par” initiative to bring immersive astronomy and STEM learning to students across Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched the “Taare Zameen Par” Mobile Digital Planetarium & STEM Education Outreach Programme at PM Shri High School, Cumbarjua, aiming to promote scientific curiosity among students through experiential learning. The initiative features an inflatable mobile planetarium equipped with advanced digital projection for astronomy shows, along with hands-on STEM kits to encourage “learning by doing.” Designed to reach schools across Goa, especially in remote areas, the programme will operate via a dedicated outreach bus, making interactive science education more accessible. Supported in part by the Rajalakshmi Children Foundation, the initiative seeks to transform classrooms into immersive learning spaces and inspire innovation among young learners.
