Locals flag rising stray cattle concerns after recent incidents in the area. A cow trapped in the gate of the Government Primary School at Gundelwada in Velus was safely rescued after swift intervention by local resident and firefighter Tulsidas Zharmekar, who freed the animal without causing any harm.The incident has once again highlighted the growing stray cattle problem in the locality. Residents also pointed out that just two days earlier, another cow had died after reportedly suffering an electric shock in the same area.
