FMCG & Telecom Distributors Oppose SOPO Levy in Margao

Association demands scrapping of collection, cites burden on transport and trade The All Goa FMCG & Telecom Distributors Association has demanded the immediate removal of SOPO collection from goods transport vehicles in Margao. General Secretary Bab Chetan Kapdi said the levy is adding financial burden on transporters and affecting smooth business operations.The association urged authorities to reconsider the policy, warning that continued collection could disrupt goods movement and increase costs for traders.
