Over 3,000 employees to benefit; ban on new daily wage appointments in govt bodies The Goa Cabinet has approved the formulation of the Daily Wages Grant of the Temporary Status 2025 scheme, aimed at granting temporary status to daily wage workers who have completed seven or more years in government departments, semi-government bodies, autonomous bodies, and municipal councils. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the scheme will benefit over 3,000 workers, with minimum net salaries starting from ₹20,000. The move also includes a complete ban on fresh daily wage appointments across government entities.
