Chairman Chandrakant Babu Kavlekar Inaugurates Programme; 600 Students Currently Enrolled The Foundation Day of the Kala Academy was celebrated with enthusiasm on Saturday, with Chairman Chandrakant Babu Kavlekar inaugurating the programme in the presence of several dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, Kavlekar stated that around 600 students are presently pursuing various genres of art at the academy. He further informed that activities which were discontinued earlier will soon be restarted to strengthen the institution’s cultural initiatives.
