Godinho Calls for Upgradation of Chicalim Hospital; Blames Opposition for Flyover Delay

Minister says hospital runs efficiently despite staff shortage While launching the construction of new drains at Chicalim, Minister Mauvin Godinho praised the efficient functioning of the Chicalim Sub-District Hospital despite a shortage of staff. He said he has discussed the issue with the Health Minister in the Cabinet, seeking the hospital’s upgradation with more doctors, nurses, staff, and equipment. Godinho also accused certain opposition leaders of deliberately moving court against the ₹550 crore flyover project, alleging that their actions forced changes to its height and design, resulting in wasted public funds and delays.
