Additional Transformer to Be Installed as Amona Substation Faces Technical Issues Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said the recent major power outage was caused by a failure in the electrical grid. He informed that the Amona power substation is facing technical issues and that the required restoration material is currently unavailable. To improve the situation, an additional transformer is expected to be installed by today, which will help restore normal power supply in the affected areas.
