Marigold Farming Flourishes in Goa with Government Support

380 Farmers Cultivate 28 Hectares Under Swayampurna Goa Scheme Marigold cultivation in Goa has expanded to 28 hectares, with 380 farmers growing yellow and orange varieties. Under the Swayampurna Goa initiative, farmers receive ₹75,000 per hectare in subsidies from the Centre and State. Agriculture Director Sandeep B. Fol Dessai said the expected yield this season is around 280 metric tons.
