Although the southwest monsoon has officially arrived in Goa, Panaji has yet to receive the expected rainfall intensity seen in other parts of the state.Residents in the capital city have witnessed mostly light and scattered showers, with no significant downpour so far. The uneven distribution of rainfall has raised concerns among some residents, even as weather conditions remain favourable for increased precipitation in the coming days. Meteorological authorities expect monsoon activity to strengthen gradually across the state.
