Police cite swift action in break-in cases, arrests made with inter-state coordination Goa DGP Alok Kumar said that intensified night patrolling has helped control dacoity and other crimes in the state. He noted that no major dacoity cases have been reported after the Dona Paula and Mapusa incidents, although some house break-ins did occur and were quickly solved by police. He also said five Bangladeshi nationals were arrested in connection with the cases, with support from other state police forces and the BSF.
