I am uploading viral videos and also the photographs produced by me before Divorce court, Mapusa, due to which (Name withheld) has now created forged/fake edited video and tried to portrait all together different story with the sole intension to tarnish my image/reputation and seek my suspension from police service.

  1. On 26/8/2021 at 18.45 hrs., I had gone to Giruim near the crossroad in front of Government High School and I was sitting in car. At that relevant time I noticed that my friend and colleague from police department Miss (Name withheld), who was passing by the said road on her bike, stopped to have Bhelpuri on the roadside stall. On seeing her I called her and she came and sat in car and we started taking to each other causally. There were about more than 100 people present there near the stall.
  2. Suddenly I noticed that, my wife (Name withheld) and her brother (Name withheld) appeared and that my wife (Name withheld) caught hold of the (Name withheld) hair and started pulling.
  3. (Name withheld) started video recording on his mobile phone the incident. I therefore requested (Name withheld) to stop recording the video, however (Name withheld) continued and started running away. I therefore followed him and I managed to catch hold on (Name withheld) and that relevant point of time two unknown persons, who were standing there caught hold on me and started assaulting me.
  4. Somehow I freed myself from their clutches and ran towards the car, where I saw (Name withheld) continued assaulting and abusing (Name withheld). So also(Name withheld)s caught hold of (Name withheld) hand and molested her by inserting his other hand under her kurta and forcefully snatched her bra. My wife(Name withheld) also caught hold Miss (Name withheld) kurta and tore it. (Name withheld) was constantly abusing both of us and also hit in her nose and started abusing her with filthy words “****” etc.
  5. Looking at that gravity of offence and in order to save the integrity of my colleague and I removed my t-shirt and I gave it to (Name withheld) to wear, as her kurta was torn in such a manner that it was exposing her body.
  6. (Name withheld) seeing this again pounced upon (Name withheld) and started assaulting her and at that relevant point of time I got out of the car and seeing me (Name withheld) started shouting that I am having intercourse with (Name withheld) in a broad day light in a public and started calling out for (Name withheld) and unknown other persons and also started pulling my half pant. In order to save my chastity, I tried to pushed her but she did not leave my half pant and in the bargain she fell down on her own.
  7. Thereafter I went inside the car and closed the windows, however I could not locked the doors as (Name withheld) pulled the other side front door of the car,
  8. Due to the above incident (Name withheld) was in total shock and could not even close door on her side as such I pulled a door from her side and somehow managed to drive a car to Mapusa Police Station for lodging the complaint against (Name withheld), (Name withheld) and others and accordingly complaint was registered as NC complaint. (Name withheld) also filed an FIR against (Name withheld) and (Name withheld).
  9. These real facts which transpired on that particular day was not at all brought before the media. Even the entire incident was video recorded on the mobile phone by (Name withheld) and (Name withheld).
  10. Subsequently on 27/08/2021, my colleagues informed me that video containing my picture has gone viral on facebook and other social media sites and forwards the same on my mobile.
  11. After seeing the video, it was confirmed that video was edited/fiddled in such a way to tarnish my image/reputation as well as image/reputation if my colleague (Name withheld) in the eye of my friends, police department, family, general public, well-wishers, who knew me as a sincere police personal having an unblemished track record.
  12. Due to the said video my image/reputation and image/reputation of (Name withheld) has been tarnish/damaged beyond repair.
  13. Anybody viewing the said video and caption attached to it, would get an impression that myself and (Name withheld) are of loose character, which is totally false and blatant lie.
  14. If the entire unedited video were to go viral, then the true facts would have come to light.
  15. I had already filed a suit for divorce against (Name withheld), which is presently pending before CJSD ‘C’ Court Mapusa-Goa, wherein I had placed on record the photographs wherein the said (Name withheld) was seen with different men in a different position and to counter the same the said (Name withheld) has not only tried to spoil my reputation/image through edited/fiddled video, which was forged to create evidence to counter my case in a divorce suit.
  16. The general public and the persons, who had viewed the edited video would not know the other side of a coin that’s why I am comple to post my side of story on facebook.
  17. Due to viral of edited video, the police department has order my suspension as well as suspension of my colleague without even verifying true facts and without even giving an any opportunity of hearing us and without even verifying the authenticity of said edited video.
  18. On the earlier occasion also (Name withheld) and her family tried to spoil my CR with police department which facts I have already pleaded before the court in the said suit for divorce and now she has finally managed to get my suspension order by making edited video viral.
  19. Hence I humbly request everyone to please don’t fall prey to edited video viral on the social media.

Social media can be a wondrous place at times. While on most days, its ugly face is on display, on days like today, it sets examples of the power of kindness. In a social media post, a LinkedIn user shared how a delivery executive, in need of money and a better job, bagged one after the users on the platform came together to help the person out.

Priyanshi Chandel, Marketing Manager at tech company Flash, shared an incident about a Swiggy delivery agent who had come to deliver food at her residence. When she asked the late and out-of-breath delivery person, identified by her as Sahil Singh, about what happened, he told her that he had no transport and had to walk 3 km to deliver the order.

He also said that he was out of money and had nothing left to pay his landlord too. Singh told her that he was not looking for money from her but requested her to help him bag a job. He said that he had a degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering, and had worked with Byju’s and Ninjacart before. He had to move back to Jammu during the pandemic.

“I have not eaten for a week, just drinking water and tea to get by. I am not asking for anything, please if you can find me a job, I used to make 25k before, I am 30 years old, my parents are getting old and I can’t keep asking for money from them (sic),” Chandel quoted saying.

She also shared his marksheets and contact number for people to help. His details shared show that he is a 2018 BTech graduate from Mewar University, and completed his schooling from the Jammu and Kashmir state board.

After she shared the details, the comments section was filled with people who stepped up to help. While someone recharged his Yulu account so that he did not have to walk around to deliver food, someone offered a place to stay. Many offered to help him with his applications, while some offered jobs too.

Chandel, later on put an update on the post, and said that he received a job.

However, so far it is unclear what job he has received.

2023 has so far been a year of job losses, an eventual outcome of the pandemic and increased hiring by tech companies. For instance, the SSC MTS 2023 recruitment exam that took place in Uttar Pradesh in May saw over 55 lakh applications for Group D jobs. Numerous candidates who applied for positions such as peon, watchman, gardener had educational backgrounds like BTech, MBA, and Master’s degrees.
