This is why RG can’t be registered as a party(Objection Letter). READ

Published

on

This is in response to the public notice published on 7th May 2021 in “THE GOAN” a local
daily in Goa, bringing to notice that a political party is proposed to be registered by the name
of “Revolutionary Goans Party”. The said proposed party has also in the same notice,
announced the office bearers to be President: Viresh Mukesh Borkar, General Secretary:
Shrikrishna Ravindra Parab, and Treasurer: Vishvesh Sham Naik.

At the very onset, it would be prudent to give you an understanding of the following so that the
Election Commission of India may have a complete unbiased picture of who, what and why an
application has come to their table seeking registration of the Political Party and whether it
should be considered or not :

1) THE BACKGROUND OF REVOLUTIONARY GOANS.
2) THE OFFICE BEARERS OF REVOLUTIONARY GOANS PARTY.
3) THE POGO BILL.
4) THE HIDDEN UNDISCLOSED INTENTION OF THE PROPOSED
REVOLUTIONARY GOANS PARTY

1) THE BACKGROUND OF REVOLUTIONARY GOANS :

“ Revolutionary Goans ” a group that was formed in the state of Goa in 2017, was founded by Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab, Mr. Viresh Mukesh Borkar, Mr. Vishvesh Sham Naik and others. This group was formed as a political revenge/revolt by Mr Manoj against the AAP political party Goa unit of which he and Mr Vishvesh were part of but then later left. Revolutionary Goans started with social and cultural empowerment/awareness programmes to gain attention. Later this led to the manifestation of the political agenda of Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab supported by Mr. Viresh Borkar and Mr. Vishvesh Naik in 2018. A hate driven concept was initiated by this group by discriminating people within Goa from which this group gained much of its momentum and fame. They made huge distinctions between a Goan and a Non-Goan, thereby relentlessly using words like “Ghanti” in an unscrupulous manner to attract the fellow common men, women and youth of Goa towards an agenda to gain popularity and it continues till date. ( Social media posts have been attached as Annexure I colly, as proof of the above statements )

Revolutionary Goans went on to be registered as an NGO with the Registrar of Societies
bearing registration number : 41/GOA/2019.

3) THE POGO BILL:

To further the cause of discrimination and hate in the state of Goa, The Revolutionary Goans in 2019 drafted a bill known as the “POGO Bill” which in brief defines:

• Who is a Person of Goan Origin ?
• Whatever statutes are tabled by the Legislature to be applicable only to Persons of Goan Origin.
• Whatever the benefits from Govt. Jobs to Private Sector jobs, etc. reservation for Persons of Goan Origin ranging from 100% reservation to 80% reservation
respectively.

( A copy of the POGO bill is annexed as Annexure II colly )

Revolutionary Goans tried their best to promote and pass this POGO Bill since 2019 at the State Assembly Sessions but it was outright rejected by the State Assembly and was not even tabled since it was considered unconstitutional. As a result, Revolutionary Goans went into a further rebellion against the current MLA’s of Goa by badmouthing them and passing derogatory remarks against them. The Revolutionary Goans then tookit upon themselves to get the POGO bill passed by hook or crook in order to achieve their agenda of throwing out the so call NON GOANS from the state of Goa. This hate was and is the hallmark/methodology used in hypnotizing the common people into getting the Revolutionary Goans NGO a huge fan following.

Awareness programmes and door to door visits are being conducted all over Goa to promote this POGO Bill. The Office bearers Viresh Mukesh Borkar, Shrikrishna Ravindra Parab, and Vishvesh Sham Naik have been personally involved in organising, promoting such awareness programmes to promote this bill and its intention. The POGO Bill and the language used has now brought a scare amongst many people who stay in Goa who by right earn a living. There have been various occasions recorded of violence and law taken for granted by these members of Revolutionary Goans including the office bearers of the
proposed Political Party. (proofs of the same are attached as Annexure III Colly herewith )

4) THE HIDDEN UNDISCLOSED INTENTION OF THE PROPOSED REVOLUTIONARY GOANS PARTY:

It was not surprising that on 7th May and 8th May advertisements were put in the “Goan” (English newspaper) and “Bhangarbui” (Konkani newspaper) as part of the procedure to be followed in registering a Political Party with the Election Commission of India. In fact this was always the agenda of the Mastermind/Supremo Mr Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab supported by Mr Viresh Borkar and Mr Vishvesh Naik to register a political party and this was announced many times in the recent past including press conferences addressed by none other than Mr Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab himself. ( Proofs of the same attached as Annexure IV ) . The wilful omission of Mr Tukaram alias Manoj Parab as an office bearer of the party, needs to be made known to the Election Commission of India as these undisclosed facts kept in the dark will be detrimental to the society at large.

Since 2018, the Revolutionary Goans have got themselves into controversies and have taken law in their own hands to promote their agenda which is to spread hatred and discriminate the citizens residing in Goa. Mr. Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab, Mr.Vishvesh Naik and Mr. Viresh Borkar have been personally involved in such activities. As such many complaints have been filed against Mr Manoj which are still pending in various courts and Police stations in Goa. This includes the latest TADIPAAR case filed against Mr Manoj Parab which Mr. Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab himself self explains in the video. ( Video Links annexed in Annexure V ).

The office bearers are very sure that the party cannot be registered if such facts were brought before the ECI and hence have approached the ECI portraying themselves to be virgins. The ulterior motive of the Revolutionary Goans Party is to induct Mr Mr. Tukaram Alias Manoj Bharat Parab as soon as the party gets registered and all will be well with the Revolutionary Goans Party to carry out their agenda as stated above.

After understanding the nature of the Revolutionary Goans, its members and their intentions,
it is very alarming that such criminal undemocratic ways will not stop once party is fully
registered. It is seen that the Revolutionary Goans agenda of creating unrest and disunity
amongst what was once a vey a peaceful and harmonious state called Goa will be fulfilled
through the Revolutionary Goans Party. With the kind of marketing and publicity Revolutionary Goans has created for themselves based on false pretexts they continue to gain
popularity in the most deceiving way possible.

It is our humble request to please take cognisance of the above mentioned facts and probe into
the registration of Revolutionary Goans as a political party on an urgent basis as their registration would lead to sure shot terrorising of the innocent minds and nature of the fellow
Goan population to an extent that can be very difficult to control in the days/years to come.
We therefore plead that such anti-social elements should never be given an opportunity to
destroy the peace and tranquillity through their deceitful approach to the Election Commission
of India and through their ill-conceived intentions of registering the Revolutionary Goans
Party.

Social media can be a wondrous place at times. While on most days, its ugly face is on display, on days like today, it sets examples of the power of kindness. In a social media post, a LinkedIn user shared how a delivery executive, in need of money and a better job, bagged one after the users on the platform came together to help the person out.

Priyanshi Chandel, Marketing Manager at tech company Flash, shared an incident about a Swiggy delivery agent who had come to deliver food at her residence. When she asked the late and out-of-breath delivery person, identified by her as Sahil Singh, about what happened, he told her that he had no transport and had to walk 3 km to deliver the order.

He also said that he was out of money and had nothing left to pay his landlord too. Singh told her that he was not looking for money from her but requested her to help him bag a job. He said that he had a degree in Electrical and Communication Engineering, and had worked with Byju’s and Ninjacart before. He had to move back to Jammu during the pandemic.

“I have not eaten for a week, just drinking water and tea to get by. I am not asking for anything, please if you can find me a job, I used to make 25k before, I am 30 years old, my parents are getting old and I can’t keep asking for money from them (sic),” Chandel quoted saying.

She also shared his marksheets and contact number for people to help. His details shared show that he is a 2018 BTech graduate from Mewar University, and completed his schooling from the Jammu and Kashmir state board.

After she shared the details, the comments section was filled with people who stepped up to help. While someone recharged his Yulu account so that he did not have to walk around to deliver food, someone offered a place to stay. Many offered to help him with his applications, while some offered jobs too.

Chandel, later on put an update on the post, and said that he received a job.

However, so far it is unclear what job he has received.

2023 has so far been a year of job losses, an eventual outcome of the pandemic and increased hiring by tech companies. For instance, the SSC MTS 2023 recruitment exam that took place in Uttar Pradesh in May saw over 55 lakh applications for Group D jobs. Numerous candidates who applied for positions such as peon, watchman, gardener had educational backgrounds like BTech, MBA, and Master’s degrees.
