Tourism Stakeholders’ Meet with CM Dr.Sawant

Hawkers, Touts & Trade License Issues Dominate Discussions; Police Action Assured Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, along with Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte and GTDC Chairman Ganesh Gaonkar, convened a high-level meeting with tourism stakeholders to address pressing concerns in the sector. Stakeholders raised issues related to hawkers, touts, and trade license renewals. Responding to these concerns, the Chief Minister assured that a major police deployment will be carried out to crack down on illegal hawking and touting activities across key tourist areas.
