Residents of Shirshire in Borim, within the Shiroda constituency, have alleged a severe and long-standing water shortage, claiming they are forced to wake up as early as 3 a.m. to collect water.Locals said that despite submitting memorandums and staging protests before the concerned department, the issue remains unresolved. They alleged that water is supplied only once every 15 days while bills continue to be issued monthly.Expressing frustration, residents warned that if the water crisis is not resolved before the 2027 Assembly elections, they may consider boycotting the polls.
