“We Didn’t Regularise Illegal Houses, We Regularised Irregular Ones”: CM Sawant

CM Speaks on Mhaje Ghar Scheme at South Goa Sanad Distribution Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant said that the government has not regularised illegal houses but has only regularised irregular constructions under the Mhaje Ghar scheme.Speaking at a Sanad distribution programme in South Goa, he said that if structures on Comunidade land were considered illegal, questions must be asked as to why they were allowed at the initial stage. He clarified that the initiative is aimed at resolving long-pending issues faced by genuine occupants by bringing eligible houses under a legal framework.
